For this animation, I was asked by St. Joost, school of Arts & Design, to make a Christmas card for the students that have applied to this school. As a student of Illustrated & Animated Storytelling, I thought it would be fun to make an animated Christmas card.I want to bring over that warm, cozy feeling of festivity. That's why I went with the option of a fireplace, a chair at the front, a Christmas tree on the other side and also a sleeping cat.
I also took inspiration of other Christmas cards that managed to bring over that warm feeling.I had a hard time animating the fire, so I looked at tutorials on how to animate them.I made this with the program called Clip Studio Paint.

For this illustration, I wanted to draw a curly tree in a frog perspective. At first, I had a hard time because it didn't look like you were looking up a tree. So I kept redrawing the shape, until it looked right. From there onwards, I started sketching the desired tree shape and the surroundings. After that, I colored it in grayscale and finished it with shades of shadow and light.
Journey through Wonderland (Pitchbible)
When a young girl runs away from home, she finds herself in a strange world. She must find her way out of this dangerous, challenging environment before she is driven to madness.
This project is still a working concept.
The story follows a young girl named Elizabeth Allisson Jones, who accidentally stumbles in Wonderland when she ran away from home. Now she tries to find her way back to her world, but her journey is not that easy. The road is filled with schemes, obstacles, enemies and other challenges that she has to learn to overcome. Will she be able to go back to her world safely, or will she descend into madness in this strange world? The story is inspired by the original Alice in Wonderland, written by Lewis Carroll, and music series Royal Scandal, produced by Kanon69. This will be an interactive Role-play-game concept, put inside a pitch bible for my graduation project. It is a coming of age story, and it takes place in the Victorian era of England.
Each place represents a certain theme that is supported by the important characters, the protagonist meets
Located just outside of London, this is the home to the Jones' family
The hallway is the entrance to Wonderland
In this garden, holds the March Hare his timeless Tea Party
The castle of the Queen of Hearts
Sketches of other design concepts
Each character supports the theme of their environment in their own unique way.
